Apart from the planets being positioned differently to the pic in their orbits, it has been proven that Pluto is not a planet but an ice asteroid, for it to remain classed as a planet, hundreds of similar, and larger, ice asteroids would need to be classed as a planet; hence Pluto was declassified as a planet; which means we have 8 in the system not 9. (just being a nerd for a change from a geek, as normal - thought I would see what life is like on the other side!)

According to Google, I live on the streets.
Red circle is my house. Although it seems like an old picture, because there's a really big tree that isn't there, and some other trees that are there that were removed quite some time ago. I was really hoping to find my dog (would appear as a black blob), but it looks like she wasn't there when the satellite was. The nose of the smiley face might be her.

Well, if we're going to be nerds here, Pluto hasn't been "proved" or "proven" to be anything.bacteria wrote:Apart from the planets being positioned differently to the pic in their orbits, it has been proven that Pluto is not a planet but an ice asteroid, for it to remain classed as a planet, hundreds of similar, and larger, ice asteroids would need to be classed as a planet; hence Pluto was declassified as a planet; which means we have 8 in the system not 9. It has been reclassified as a dwarf planet.
Keep the proofs in Mathematics, where they belong.
