Damn! I miss the lazy bastards that don't do anything  To much mod activity is bad.

FINAL edit by CTFan: Stop guys, this isn't modlike behavior. And to clear the record, it definitely wasn't me.

I know right? These forums would be so much better if we had some good ol' anarchy  Who the hell voted that change is bad(other than daguuy)?

It's not just me, it's a general consensus of the administration. It's nothing personal. :P We've had this discussion numerous times; and to answer your question, you're correct in saying that there are SOME users here I would not trust with said powers. Also, take into consideration that the changes we'll be making here with the moderation staff will drastically decrease the time it takes for us to clean up all the crap that's lying around, so you'll be hard-pressed to find a thread that's not taken care of in a timely fashion.

Well, how about just the moving ability? What kind of havoc could be caused by that? Someone moving threads wildly all around the forum could be the only possible problem that I see, and they would get the banhammer immediately.

My "Nintendo N64 Advance" project is fully functional, just needs finishing the case and putting a finish on it, and I did complete the modding required for the "BigBoy Advance" project a few months ago - perhaps I could have the "portablizer" title, (or something else if more relevant) please?

Yes, it makes sense for all Moderators to have their privileges across all the forums on the site, it may help to reduce the spam bots and other issues.

Oh yes, BTW -"Changes" is a (famous) song by David Bowie, originally released on the album Hunky Dory in December 1971 and as a single in January 1972.

No, it's to that 80's song that goes "Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes"
Oh, well I plead ignorance on the count that I'm not into 80's music and the fact that Chia Pets are cool, though I never had one.
So you like '80s ornamentals, but not '80s music?

David Bowie transcends the plain old "80s music".

EDIT - And lets not forget, Changes came out in '71.

There's absolutely no reason you guys should need that power, because there's no reason that you should be posting things in the wrong forum; there's a very clear outline on where to post that's stickied, it's not that tough to follow.

Lets face it, this forum and site is dying, Simply because ben wants to spend all this time on these stupid podcasts, and thier are no groundbreaking discoveries in portablizing. When the Gc ide thing breaks through, then we will live again.

Administration: Fine
Moderation: Fine
Regular Users: A few noobs, but tolerable.

The Nextgen forum should have its name/description altered to include the DS and PSP, as their discussions aren't really random F42-material, and are also Nextgen material (even though they're already handhelds). It seems posts about the two already typically go in there, but it'd help for everyone to know that's where they belong, that way there isn't a divide between already-handheld devices being discussed in several different forums (F42, Nextgen, etc.)

I meant if we accidentally post in the wrong section. On at least two occasions, I have somehow posted topics that belong in F42 in the N64 forum. I am sure others have made similar mistakes. I understand where to post, but like everyone, I make mistakes.

How can you "accidentally" post in the wrong section? A double post is completely understandable, but there's absolutely no reason you can't be conscious enough to post a thread in the proper forum.

As much as i hate it, i agree with benol.

I have usually several windows of this forum open while i am reading it, and it is pretty easy to post in the wrong one.
