Bad move.

They keyboard doesn't just register point to ground, butpoint to point. Otherwise you would need 100+ contacts.

Well, I have another idea, and I think this could be the easiest yet.

I'm pretty sure I'd only use this controller on my MAME. My MAME already have a KeyWiz-ish thing in it, and it has 6 unused wires and a common ground for the whole thing! I could just connect the guitar controller right up the arcade with no USB controller at all!

Is there someway I can plug and unlplug it though? Like, is there a video game system with 7 leads in the controller port that I can use that?

Hmmm Playstation has 9 right? I could get a PlayStation extension cord thing and use the male and female connectors on it! Right?
If you're looking at this post and it was made before 2008, just ignore it.

There's lots of standard connecting things like that. If you must sacrifice a controller and controller port, do that. If you look around you'll find other things. There's lots of other things. Like the connectors IDE cables use. If you find one of those with 8 pins, you're good to go, and it'll be really tiny.

And the keywiz thing is basically a keyboard chip with fancy lead clips.
Hey, sup?
