I feel so dirty. Being a pirate by profession to the bone, I probably should have voted for them, but ninjas are just so much damn cooler. I'm sorry, but really, people; name ONE pirate that could kill Ryu Hayabusa. Yeah, didn't think so.

Speaking of ninjas, anyone else see the top 10 ninjas of gaming on ScrewAttack? Cool stuff.

Name one classic book based on ninjas. YOU CAN'T! Pirates are much more awesomeness, since they aren't foreign entities, they're very real, and little about them differs from their description in Treasure Island. As for ninjas, depending on your source, some have crazy inhuman abilities to catch swords, stop bullets, jump crazy distances, disappear, etc. Real ninjas were lame by our crazy definition of ninja.

Guessing someone's never played the greatest pirate game ever, Sid Meier's Pirates.

The only film tie in video game about pirates I can think of TBH is POTC.

Ninjas are way worse. I agree with totokan.

Think TMNT ninjas, minus the exploding.

They just hop and wave their arms around.

Pirates are much cooler. They pillage and steal and...hey! That's not cool either!
