ok, it's back up, sorry 'bout not saying (if you already figured it out) Anyway, if you could vote in the top choice that represents you, that would be good. When I edited my first post saying to hold all votes, the poll got screwed up.

I can't get to it, but someone posted a mirror or an alternative or something to this a little while ago, and I could get to that. If doomportables.org is a redirect or something then it must be that.
everything above this line is a lie

anyone can access the freehost mirror, it's doomportables.org itself that is having the problem.

sorry to bring this up again, but I have a request to ask of you guys, especially those who cannot get on. If you are in Windows XP or 2000, go to the start menu and press run. Type in "cmd" and click ok. when in a command prompt, type the following:

Code: Select all

tracert doomportables.org
there will be several lines of numbers (I have 13, then after that it says "connection timed out" or something like that) If you could copy exactly what it says and PM it to me, that would be great, as I am trying to pin the server with the problem :)

thanks,
SpongeBuell

It says 'doomportables.org' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Again, I hope this helps.

um, did you type in "tracert" (without the quotes..) before doomportables.org?
if not, simply type in "tracert doomportables.org" (no quotes..) and it should work :)...it did for me, and I PMed spongey the result :).
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!
