When my video driver went in my ibm thinkpad, I never got this error.
The system file contains information about your computer and fits the operating system to the hardware you have. Apparently, you/your brother did some operation on the computer that tinkered with the file, thus giving you the error that the file is corrupt.

You screwed it up, now fix it.

Guys, I got into the BIOS.

One problem.

It says "press anykey to boot from CD."

When I press a key, I get the same error. Like it wont even boot from the CD, it just gives me the same error as before.

Try pressing a whole bunch of keys, or hook up another keyboard if you have one.

Hey, I got it working. I reinstalled windows but now everytime windows attempts to "setup" for the first time, (Like where I enter the CD key), the Computer reboots.

I've tried formatting, I've tried hooking up another drive, and I've tried repairing windows. I can safely say, its messed up.

Like, it doesnt even give me a choice to not reboot. It just shuts itself off. I sent the computer into MDG. They're fixing it for me for FREE (even though its out of warranty by a year), because my other computer (laptop) has had so much trouble. Basically, they felt sorry :p.
