Here's an idea: make a connection so that you can connect n64 games to a pc and "rip" them or get an emulator. Put it on a chip and find a way to work around that. If you don't have the giant board and use an emulator device, you can make it MUCH smaller...probably more like your PSP design.

With your Crayola drawings, I think that is your Elmo book...noob...we all go to Big Bird for our design consultation here.

Or use the N64 emulator on PSP.

Anyway, always nice to see new projects/designs; however yours won't work, far too small and design has flaws.
Maybe that is his elmo book

I was wondering the same thing. I have to say this is the most unrealistic portable idea ive seen yet. I want to make a portable out of regular dough so you could bake it. That would be badass
And have the buttons made of chocolate chips!
Meh, I don't post much.

Duh, how else would i be able to play? You know now I want to take my old Gameboys pcb and screen and such and stuff it in a french loaf and stick some chocolate chips on to the silicone contacts. I definitely need to do this tommorrow, expect a post in the news forums lol

French loaf? Have you made a crayon drawing of the "master plan" on a piece of toilet paper yet (at least the paper can be used afterwards :D )? French loaf and choc chips? to quote my previous comment (with same diplomacy): "yours won't work, far too small and design has flaws.". mmmm, choc chips and French loaf, mmmm. If you leave it until tomorrow to post the topic, the bread might be hard enough...

Actually, your idea of making a case out of bread sounds like a half-baked idea (groan).

yeah ill make a master plan on toilet paper as well and ill post that an hour before i set up my gameboy sammich. Yeah... thats the name and no, I didn't mean to say sandwich. I decided against the French loaf and now I'll just get two pieces of sandwich bread and staple them together with the pcb inside. If this concept is too mind blowing for you just wait for my crayon draw up

Ohh, wouldn't use staples, might make a short! (I suppose then it would be called "short bread"). :D

What would you power it with, li-ion cells, AA cells or just some butter? (careful with the butter knife, they can be sharper than you think!) :D

I dont have any regular bread so I'm going to use pita and I decided to use my gba, and raisins for buttons. Hey if I actually make this can I get a title that says village idiot?

I actually did do a stupid mod like that...not made of bread or anything but cardboard, ducktape, a rubberband to hold it together, and my old gameboy pocket. I'll post a picture if my camera still works (it's on the brink).
Meh, I don't post much.

Stop it, before you kill me with all those bad puns

It should be powered by a array of lemons, and enclosed in a hollow sourdough bread bowl from Panera.

Sadly I didn't get a chance to make it as I was cleaning all day today.

Noooo - don't clean with the kitchen paper you did your master portable project design on - noooo! (note the sarcasm). Oh, go on then! :D
