Err, no offense guys, but it really isn't hard. I am a complete PSP newb, and I managed to downgrade, upgrade, put homebrew, emulators and PSX games on my PSP. Just look at the guides on PSP-Hacks.

@benol
I presume you mean PSP ISOs? I think they show up under Game/Memory Stick. I'm not completely sure though, as that's the one thing I havn't done on mine.

Benol, dont get a ps1 emulator. Get Popstation for PSP.

Contact VB master. He knows a lot about this stuff.

In that case, do what HDC said. Search PSP Hacks for Popstation, and use it to convert the PS1 ISO file to an EBOOT. If you have an original game, then use CDRWin to rip the image file, then convert it to an EBOOT. Then stick this EBOOT in a folder with the game title (e.g. if you have a Tomb Raider EBOOT, then put the EBOOT in a folder titled 'Tomb Raider'), and then stick this folder in MS0/PSP/GAME. It'll then show up under GAME/Memory Stick.

I made a video tutorial on how to do this for Youtube, but I think I deleted it.

I tried multiple times with Rampage2: World Tour, and it won't work. Sigh.

This reminds me of the #psp-hacks IRC channel. A bunch of idiots asking the same question to one or two people who might just know what they are talking about. Oh, and lots of words are filtered like ISO, OSI, PSX, PS1, etc.

Anyways, about running PSX games, what you need to do is to run a tool called popstation, or you can just download IceTea or PSX2PSP GUI (search dl.qj.net)

Ok, I got it working. I really need a memory stick bigger than 512 mb. Also, I need to try to find the PS1 games I actually LIKE.
