The Gambler - Xzibit (Domino)
Son of a B*tch - Nazareth (Lords of Dogtown, and probably countless others)

Carmina Burana
Not to nit-pick, but that song is actually part of Carmina Burana by Carl Orff. Its an amazing piece to listen to. I saw it performed live once with the Milwaukee Ballet acting out the scenes. It was amazing.benheck wrote:Well if you want that typical music that's in most trailers, it's "O Fortuna - the Excalibur Theme" by Wagner. You'll know it when you hear it - we used it back on Podcast Episode 2. And you've probably heard it on every action movie trailer ever.
You can read more about it on Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carmina_Burana_%28Orff%29

1)Painkiller by Judas Priest except get the version when Tim "The Ripper" Owens is on vocals, it sounds much more heavier and faster.
Or how about:
The middle of 2)"In my Darkest Hour" by Medadeth or 3)"Train of Consequences" by Megadeth. Also, almost anything metallica registers well with these types of scenarios.

At least heavy metal is made and performed by humans. You will be the first to welcome our new synthesizer overlords.Kurt_ wrote:Tried listening to any heavy metal? That doesn't have lyrics! Just gorlws and words you can't make out!
Hows about techno? It's not exactly hardcore, but it's got a beat. Rave music and the likes would work well.
And just for the record, Lamb of God is overrated. SOILWORK AND ISIS FTW!

as far as techno for fast actiony stuff i have to suggest the following
not really techno but chiptune, anything by anamanaguchi
aphex twin has some really fast heavy stuff like come to daddy and afx237v7
daft punk - aerodynamic pwns and pretty much any other song on the discovery album is good, not so much for chase scenes tho
the imperial march from starwars is always good lol
DARUDE - calm before the storm, out of control and extasy are good

Also Rob Zombie and anything techno is very movie-friendly. Well, sort of.
Great big wookies

I don't think sugar is fast paced enough. Not many S.o.a.D. songs are extrememly fast. I mean attack could work but I don't think it would go very well.toby dawg wrote:Sugar by system of a down could be fast paced action music. Most of that sort of thing...
