If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.
Scroll down and you can see what you have to short.
You could undo it if you needed to by removing the wire. But you won't want to after you see the difference
Way the by, Ben said some screens don't need the mod at all. So if your screens brightness is fine don't screw with it.
And sponge, gannons pic shows up fine on my PC

I'm on a mac right now, though so I can't right click......what am I to do ?!?!?!?!?
*note: I don't own a mac, my dad does, so I still don't know a lot about macs, yet ....
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!
You should see my science teacher at my school, he looks likes Bens twin. First time I saw him I was going... whoa! This guy looks like ben. I mean it, this teacher looks the exact same.
Has anyone else tried the resistor short and there was no improvement in the brightness??
I tried the mod with tin foil, then solder and there was no improvement at all.
As a result, I had to use a flourescent tube.
