This looks like a better deal if you meant that you were going to wire them in series to get 14.8V. It's twice the voltage and a bit less than twice the capacity for only double the price of the battery you pointed out.

Edit: But if you're now planning to use a step-up, this may also be a better alternative, since 0.2V won't make too much of a difference anyways.

that 14.8 pack looks good
its an inch high which will help a lot, but i think it will be cheaper if i get a step-up, and im very short on cash
