Look like a First gen Ipod, and If im not mistaken, those only work on MAC computers, you cant transfer song from a Windows based PC to a Ipod Gen 1. Just Makin' sure everyone knows.

THIS IPOD WORKS IN WINDOWS and OSX--it is a 3g not 1gen---If i remember right there was no 40GIG first gen.
