well i got both lcd and fc twin running off my battery 7.2v. but i fried the fc twin =(.
sending off for another one.
but thats only a small set back =).

well im sure its something simple if it comes to repairing it. i just dont want to spend the time looking for what broke eventhough im pretty sure its the 7805. even if that is the major problem who knows if anything else got damaged also. well atleast now i can cut up the case for the screen and maybe start on the controller part.
