With the slimming I did with nLite, I got the "WINDOWS" folder in XP Home down to about 600MB. The .iso is about 170MB.

Windows 98 has minimum system requirements of 16MB RAM, and a 66MHz Pentium... you should be fine.

My torrent PC runs Windows 98SE with a 233MHz Pentium II and 32MB of RAM.

Actually, if I remember correctly the real minimum was an 80486.
