I'm in, and if you want I can give all the concepts I was working on back in October, and a new one I'm now working on.

My current concept is:
Ive been thinking of a Smaller N64 design, with usb ports for the controller ports, nothing where the cartridge port would be, and a sd slot under Where the logo would be.For the controller, genesis six button with R L Buttons and a Analog stick instead of a D-Pad.

You have any ideas as to what CPU, amount of ram, I/O ports and other basic system compointes it might have? I'm asking because you have a nice consept but as the BlackBox project illistrates so well, a consept is easier then building the actual thing.

So, does anybody on the team have any hardware or software experience? If not, I think you should use a Linux based single board computer to do this. If you don't have any hardware experience, your not going to be able to use something as complex as a PSX processor. If you go this route (single board computer), add me to the team. I can help you with that stuff.
I'd imagine right now you wish you were a cuttlefish...

I have neither, and I think an SBC would be best for simplicity and not having to chop up tons of Playstations.
@typamc95: Are you going to set up a forum or something for the team?

I guess...
By the way, I was thinking about using a proppelor instead, but....that would make three ....
And two in company, three is a crowd...
But what is wrong with crowds?
I might just change it...
But it could use a similar processor...

Edit: Guy's, take it the forums.

Sure!
That is just our forum, not our site.
So far:
We are using a propeller
Usb's for controllers
Take are concept from earlier in the thread
Write Basic Wonderz as a temp title
SD's for the Media format
