if you want to go secure do this:
if you dont do this and the tsop fails your xbox will be dead (and hard to recover)... but if you do this and it fails you can restore it by simply switsh... this will force to flash the bios to the bank 3&4 of your tsop and let your original bios on bank 1&2

He already flashed it with a 1mb BIOS, there is no going back.

Yep It's flashed, and it works like a charm. I have a 60 gig in it now, but I'll soon have a 200gig in it. now to get rid of this craptastic thomson dvd drive!

You need to flash it with .67 BIOS then instead of the .06 one I gave you, as .67 has >137GB support.

I can't get halo2 to run off of my hdd, it freezes at the press start screen. is there something that I have to do?

try this...
check if the clock is set... if the clock is not set some games will not boot

also go to xbins and download dvd2xbox, delete halo from your hdd and reinstall it using that tool, this tool will place the correct patch for that game
