if you think thts bad, i havent cried about anything in probably 3 or 4 years! ive felt really sad about some things and depressed but havent cried since a family friend of ours died. its kinda weird lol. i guess i would consider myself emotionally detached or something. even when i got in my carwreck i didnt cry lol, i was just like "oh excrement"

Few things surprise me. Emo kids on drugs committing suicide? That shouldn't surprise anyone! Asian teenagers? More common. (In fact most common)
People die every day. It's the natural order of life. If people didn't die, the world would be overpopulated within a matter of years!

I had to learn all this stuff in Health Class. (It's required to graduate in my district) Suicide is most common in Asian Teenagers. (I guess grades or something...)

Meh, sunrise sunset...
You're not a psychopath*. Sure, you may not be in mouring over her passing, you did not know her and therefore it is normal to be a little sad but not bawling-your-eyes-out sad. You're normal (at least in this case
).
Like others said, if everyone mourned every time anyone died, mourning is all anyone would do. Sort of like in the original The Sims (they mourned for 24 hours straight), except without the maze in front of the toilet.
* Psychopathy is the complete disregard for anyone but yourself.

And that's why Luc gets mad at us when we're real idiots I believe he thinks we could do better and doesn't want us to waste our life doing nothing of any importance... Is that right luc? If not well you just gave me a sudden understanding!Lucretius wrote:I'm sure I'm going to sound "weak" when I say this, I'll bet, but death in any context hurts me. I value human life, any human life, above all else. Mine, your's, his, hers, their's. Everyone's. To me, it's the most precious gift any of us can behold. I can't understand why people wouldn't be hurt when somebody dies. What on this earth is possibly more important than human life? I really bristle at people who take death lightly.
In the same breath, though, I'm a quick mourner, but for the same reason as above. While I'm sad to know a human life was extinguished, it was and is no more and that's just the way things are. I tend to mourn quickly and get back to my life, and caring about lives in medias res. I'm a softy that way.
I care about you guys, too. So don't go dying on me, alright?
(And, if I can ever convince Ben, we'll talk about religion intrinsicle tie with death. Someday...)

A guy in my year at school died of Leukemia and i didnt feel a thing
Obviously i acknowledged that him dieing was bad but didnt feel sad as i didnt know him, had he have been one of my friends im sure id have been sad
but if you didnt know them its normal to not feel much
Personally i have Bic's outlook on death, im very good at supressing negative feelings, it comes in useful
