Well, if it's from a competion type thing, that probably means that it was stolen from the comp by an employee or someone who had access to the SNES. Nice find. On a scale from one to ten, it's probably an 8 or 9. Probably only topped by betas and prototypes.
Getting a tan while everyone else is in a blizzard... >.<
It's definantly more rare than usual and since it is Starwing and not Starfox it is extra rare. The NTSC version is much more common so you've got yourself quite a rare game there
I don't collect prototypes myself but I've seen a lot on ebay. You can even buy one of the Chrono Trigger proto's for 1000€
I've seen an auction with a NES version of Zelda A link to the past as well. Though the guy said it was untested...
A NTSC NES version of Mother, a demo of Majora's Mask and a demo of Minish Cap. I think the Starwing cart has a switch on it to choose between competition and normal game or was that another cart?
Demo's are not that rare since most store's get them, but a competition or proto is mostly worth a lot.
I've read in a Dutch game magazine (Power Unlimited, Jeroen?) that they got ROM's instead of carts in the 90's and they had to put them on the motherboard instead of plugging a proto cart in the cart slot.
EDIT: About the dumping, I don't think you should dump it cause somebody else probably did it already. Someone also dumped the Chrono Trigger proto and they accesed several extra levels.

Power Unlimited great magazine. Actually that's how I got my Miyamoto autograph I love that thing. See my dad works at vnu (dutch publisher) and he works on the same floor as pu. So he said too them I liked Miyamoto and they went like oh we stil have a autograph here we originally were gonna give away in a contest. Too bad no switches on this cart though. Got the original game though. It's just a plain snes cart without anything special too it. (besides the fact that it holds a rare game)sammy wrote:It's definantly more rare than usual and since it is Starwing and not Starfox it is extra rare.
