You know, you have claimed to make a lot of things. EEPROM burners, floppy to IDE adapters, portables, but not ONE picture that I can think of. If you really have made this stuff, then show us. Sure, your dad supposedly is an engineer, but it would still be pretty hard to make all of those things, especially at your age. So, Mr. Jack, I challenge you to post pictures of
A) your EEPROM burner
B) your floppy to IDE adapter
C) one of your portables (you claim to make them as gifts, but surely you have at least one still)

Ok I will now get the digital camera oh and the floppy to ide wasnt what I tohught. It was actually a ide to cf adapter I built. So that I did not make. So I will take a picture of my atari and my snes

Yeah thats my Atari its kinda crappy but it works. I also have the n64 portable i was making for my cousin but I fried it and gave the screen to nesman. The other portable in progress is my snesp i was going to sell for $100 but so far in parts its been about $87. Oh and I never said I finished the eprom burner it a project me and my dad are doing. I got the plans from a website someone linked to. Ill be sure to post a pic of that when its done.

Wait and another thing i did make an eeprom eraser but thats basically a zif socket and a power supply.

oh thanks cause that one has been taking forever. At one point I was done but then I fried it

wait can I use that one to burn atari / nes ect eproms? the 27xx sereis

Question: Why are smaller (2732, 2716, 2708) devices not supported?

Reason:

The 2732 and smaller EPROMs use significantly older technology than more modern, higher-density chips. As a result, they require a Vpp (program pulse) voltage of 21V or 25V. The EPROMr 2.0 circuit, as illustrated, supplies a non-programmable fixed 12.5V program pulse which makes it compatible with the vast majority of modern EPROMs.

In order to lower project cost and complexity, the regulation and switching circuits required to support multiple programming voltages and 24-pin devices have been consciously omitted from the EPROMr design.

The 2708 also requires a negative power supply rail. The construction of a suitable power supply is trivial, but it is not documented nor supported as part of the EPROMr project at this time, since one of the aims of the project was to be powerable from a simple off-the-shelf DC plugpack.

Possible Workarounds:

Refer to the item "Enhancement: Adding support for 2716 and 2732 devices" for a detailed description of a possible modification to the EPROMr design.

I also found a kit for $12.95, but with no support for older E(E)PROMS, but I'm going to get it anyways.
