Except that the phpbb code is bloated, atm this thread is 80+KB (text only). Spam kills.

It doesn't matter how much bandwidth spam takes up. The rules say no spamming. why would you waste any bandwidth at all on something not important to the site and its members.

i noticed a little pattern that's been going on for a while. ever since the minimod thing was put into effect, the rules have gotten much harsher and the mods are enforcing them meaner but nothing really good came out of it. just tonight, i saw a minimod scold somebody for mentioning roms are illegal. i understand the don't play mod rule but that's just taking it too far. the F42 mods have just been pretty mean lately

. use common sense, not naziism. i'm probably gonna get flamed or temp banned for this but that would just prove my point. just something to consider...

And if you'd pay more attention, the reason we're getting harsher is that everyone else seems to be getting more idiotic. These forums are for portabalizing mainly, remember that.

we havent been mean we have been doing our JOB. i wasnt scolding him for pointing out that roms are not legal(which is true and gets said EVERY TIME someone brings them up) but they way he did it was a distinct infraction of rule 5. something you would be familier with yes? im not trying to be mean or anything but every time the mods crack down and start enforcing the rules like we should people start whineing that we are beign too harsh (always a mention of nazi too)and when we slack off they say we arent doing our job.
