You know that the coplexity of circuitry on boards have increase sence 386 cpu. I had a (first generation) pentium computer and the board is hardly something I'd try to cut down in my wildest dreams.

I'd suggest just seeing how bug the board is to the laptop case, as I've heard that the mobo is that of a laptop. Really as I've said and everyone knows the biggest obstical is the hdd, dvd-rom and power supply.

If your very patient you can cut the board into sections, epoxy the edges to keep them to short and literly fold the board. After that you have to jump every lead you cut but with some patientince and a lot of time you can do it. I also checked out the dvd drive and its pretty easy to change the size.

I was going to try and cut it too. But I think it's in to layers. I might be wrong about it being layered.

If you search for a broken xbox on ebat most of the time the dvde drive broke so its a great place t get motherboards to mess around with.
