Yeah, pushing on them is helpful. I know this sounds suicidal to portables, but a violent shake can also fix the problem.

Oh all this is nothing compared to what happenend with my fat DS. I had bought the thing used for $115 and it was a mint complete Mario Kart one. I get it home try out Mario Kart and there is a nice red dead pixel on the top screen. Since it is the special color I knew it was still under warranty so I contacted Nintendo. It does not matter how many or where they are as long as they see them. They sent a UPS label out and I sent mine in and got it back. Pop in Mario Kart and to my suprize another dead pixel in different places so they did replace the screen and I got some free :D scratches on the system too  . I send it again and comes back with some more dead pixels (more scratches too). So now I let Nintendo have it (not the DS). Now they said they would send me a brand new one for free :D , but I have to send in the old one. I will explode if this new one has a dead pixel in it.

I hate all Large chain game stores they are just gay little places with retards working there.Since 2001 I have never bought any thing except my Game Informer and I let my friend use the card or even looked at the stuff.

I had good luck on my PSP, I was able to run that homebrew color changer thing and get them all working again, with my DS Not-Lite, I have 7 stuck pixels, but it doesn't concern me so I never bothered returning it.
