wii will not win. what is there to win? both sony and microsoft called of its battles with nintendo
microsoft wrote:people will get a 360 and a wii
now let's look at sony
sony wrote: i agree, but people will get a ps3 and a wii
this will mean
1) wii will not win, nor lose, simply bring more people to gaming
2) nintendo fanboyism will die, there will be nothing to defend
3) sony probobly will win the 1 on 1, and nintendo will be stand alone
and so on
do not defend nintendo/ act as a fanboy, there is no need
i do want a wii, and i'm not against you if you do too, just dont say they will win.

Actually the 360 has 3 processors and has a combined speed of a teraflops
edit: btw, I don't like Xbox really, I would rather havee a wii

actually the 360 has one processor, with three cores, the ps3 has one processor with eight cells, like microcores, that are all running at 2.8ghz, apparrently they have been underclocked to prevent overheating problems.
I'm writing a 10 page article on the next gen console wars. Here is a part.
Lets get this out of the way now.
Wii > 360 > PS3
Wii is a new system, much like the DS, Its has its own games and is backwards compatible.
The 360, in all aspects, is just a more powerful X-box.
The PS3, Is in no damn way a new system. Its called the FREAKIN PLAYSTATION 3!!! It probably won't have too much difference, execpt its "new" controller. For the love of God! ITS A WII COPY! But with suckyer games, graphics(not to sure, but I'm looking at the ps1 and the n64) and control styles!
Each system has its own pro's and cons
360
Pro's :Early and powerful
Con's :Nothing new except the power
ps3
Pro's : None
Con's : Controller is a copy of the Wiimote
Wii
Pro's : New controller, new sytem, backwards compatible
Con's : The name. What the hell is Wii supposed to mean??
These are my opinions.
Microsoft + Nintendo = Ultimate Gaming Machine
Sony + (Insert anything here) = Bad idea

you mean "teraflop"?
Actually, one teraflops is logically correct because it stands for trillion floating point operations per second.
On the issue of arguing about next-gen consoles, 2/3 of them aren't even out yet!! Even if it were right to judge them without real-life experience, arguments about things that are clearly opinions usually turn into flame wars online, and no one gets anywhere. I've tried to stray away from these, but I repeat my statement:
Or we can look at the title, and then think, wait, there WILL be flames, there won't be praises. Its called "Wii. why it will win."
Basicly brodcasting:
336600 Sux0rz and PPs3 is the ghey!
It should be like this:
Topic creator: Hey, I think the Wii will win. Who'se with me?
Replyer 1 : I am
Replyer 2 : Me is!!!
N00bert : WTFOMG WII SUCS UR ALL GHEY!
Relpyer 1 : Who else is with us?
N00bert : WHAAAAAAAT? Y U IGNORE ME!!!!
Replyer 3 : Hey guys, I'm with ya!
N00bert : U ALL SUX!
Replyer 4 : I think all of them will win.
Topic Creator: Yep
Replyer 1 : Me 2
Replyer 2 : Me 2
Replyer 3 : Me 2
N00bert : NO0oO0oO0oO0oO0oO0oO0oO0oO0oO0o!!!?!?!?!!!!!
*burns up*
But this will never happen. As long as there are bashers and defenders, peace can never exist.
I've said it once, but you're right. Over 6 years of experience trying to defend my computer against PC users don't lie. Once you put the argument down, blows no longer strike you as hard. I'm still an avid Mac user, but not as much of a "fan" as I used to be.
Microsoft + Nintendo = Ultimate Gaming Machine
Sony + (Insert anything here) = Bad idea
Dont flame me please!
I always thought Nintendo and Apple should team up and Microsoft and Sony team up. Nintendo and Apple always like making things that work, are fun, but aren't the most powerful. (I really never use a Mac, so this could be wrong) Sony and Microsoft (who I think work together anyway) like powerful, meatier, multimedia centers.
My opinions.

If you're looking at this post and it was made before 2008, just ignore it.

I say Nintendo + Microsoft, because fun + power = happy!

I'm a big apple fan as well, but one thing I hope that my favorite computer company doesnt pursue again (yes, they have invested in console video games before...) is console or handheld video games. Apple does what they do best from revolutionizing fairly untapped industries and concepts (not that the Wii isn't revolutionary, but video games arn't really "uncharted waters" anymore) like Home Computers with GUIs, and personal music players with Gigabites of information. And look at the losses Microsoft has made just to get "M$ in the living room"...
You do realise that all this effort going into advancing the video game console should go into advancing and creating games for the greatest console of all, the Microsoft Windows PC. Or, if you prefer, the Linux or Mac one. Because, as everyone should know, PC's have unlimited potential and a nearly unlimited 'lifetime', especially due to the fact that PC's are mostly Idiot proof compared to other gaming platforms. If they just worked on PCs, maybe I could have some TRULY groundbreaking gaming apps. A 'killer app' if you will. Either way, the Wii is to underpowered, but with my PC it's all I want. Sony, with their 'look, we can do it to!' controller, has lost my support with their sad, sad excuse for 'originality'. Now they are just trying to give me, as an american consumer, a large, hyper0mega powered console that all it can do is render a gabazillion on screen objects at once. Not that thats bad, but you need something newer then just power, I can OC my computer to that much power if I feel like it (and, coincidentaly, also feel like burning my house down). The Xbox360, like my PC, runs a Microsoft OS so I see absolutley no need to bring it into my home when I already have a working Windows XP computer that will run Vista when I 'purchase' it, but it can hardly be called that the way payments are made nowadays. See, the greatest consoles of all time were not the fastest, they had the most originality (for the most part). Please excuse the length and total randomness of this post, also the spelling, since I haven't had sleep in at least twelve hours and have had my monitor moved to a distance at which it is hard to read for me. Oh well.
