i used an intec screen on my portable NAMCO
it works fine
i think the pinouts are in the screen FAQ

Before I was into portabalizing, I bought an actual Hip Gear Screen Pad (not Intec) for $15 CAD. But I brought it back because I thought playing games on it sucked because it was so small...now I feel stupid...

HaHa, you live in Manhattan zz! I live in the suburban Queens! Anyway, go to pg. 2 for the pinouts of the thing, it's awesome. I've abused mine like hell, frying it, trashing it, switching systems so quickly, and it lives, and I'm gonna use it for my super duper fantasmomatic portable! Genesis, I gave up on....it's gonna be a CDI,LOLOLLSDFOLo!!!W1@1@1@12
