This is the kid I don't have time to register, but how does my argument sound:

I believe that capital punishment should not be an exception to any one. In order to consider one mentally retarded, a IQ test is given and any score below 60 is considered retarded. There are many who are passed as mentally retarded and given lighter sentences for major crimes, while others can commit minor crimes and receive heavier punishments. In June 25, 2002 case of Atkins v. Virginia the supreme court ruled that executing the mentally retarded is "cruel and unusual punishment," which violates the 8th amendment. Executing of any type of person is considered wheter the diffference of race, age, and IQ.

Here is my very short argument regarding minors:

Any one person under the age of 18 is considered a minor. So according to the supreme court anyone 17 years and under can kill anyone without the threat of the death penalty. The defense of the accused is usually "kids are young and going to do things and not know better." My philospohy, any one that is knowledegable of what they are doing and take the life of another should indeed be executed no matter the age.

i beleave people sould be left alnoe and not bothered if there doing some thing that does not hurt some one else... i beleave goverments reflect the people who put them there but people dont reflect the governments they elect. rehab instead of punishment, and tons more sissy socialist stuff!
