Power Connected, Doesn't Work

The only major difference I can see between the PTH08080 and PTH08000 is that the 08080 has a slightly larger input range, and the 08000 has the track feature.

How do you figure that the 08000 is more ideal? Unless you find some use for the auto-track in a portable (which I doubt you will), then the PTH08080 seems more ideal, as it's a smaller package.

It's really the same exact size, but the PTH08000 is used more on these forums, meaning that there are more schematics and more solutions.

Yeah, i wired the converter wrong. That's probably what i messed up on.

To make sure i get this right, i am going to home depot tommorrow to pick up a multimeter so i can make sure it will output ~3.3v. I'll post a diagram and the resistor values tommorrow when i get everything finished
