So are you guys planning on putting the email INSIDEW the balloon? I am, because one it ruptures, it'll just fall anyways. Maybe make a paper plane inside of it. That would be so weird watching a plane come from the heavens.

I did kinda the same thing earlyer, i took a 1 liter pepsi bottle, put my email address and put it in the river near my house, with instructions on what to say when someone contacts me. Like town/country the bottle is in at the moment.

I was talking to gamer.

But leterally, it's trash. Nobod's going to see a bottle in a river, and think: "Hey, I'll think I'll pick that piece of trash out of the water and open it and check for notes!"

Same think with a Ziplock on the ground. It's gotta be colourufl and stand out.

If theres colorfull ballons around it and they see a peice of paper in it they will pick it up.

But in order to reach the ground, you need the balloon to explode in the atmosphere. So it'll just be a popped balloon with a ziplock attatched to it.

I'm probably not going to do this for a long time because there's little chance i'll get a balloon full of helium

anytime soon.

But not only will I have my email address, i'm going to put the word 'IAM7805' on it so if any of you guys get it it'l be fun.

this is really a good idea. I'm going to take a parachute off of one of those army men, so when my email falls, somebody will catch the parachuted item. (hopefully it dosent fall in the lake)

This is actually a really clever idea! I may end up doing it if I can find a balloon with decent specs and a source of helium/hydrogen.
