SNESp question about batteries

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

750mA without mod at 7.5v, 350 with the LED mod.

The following work is like a chemistry problem - if I'm right, then I let out a sigh of relief; if not, then I start questioning what went wrong. ;)

Anyhow, I added up the screen (350mA) and the console (500mA) for a total of 850mA.. Now, the battery capacity is 2800mAh, so battery capacity divided by draw is

2800mAh/850mA = 3.29 hours!

Of course, I'll expect less time than that if it's the case. Buttons and wiring take up juice.. So was I right? =?
