We had a future shop ad a while back that advertised a hdtv with a ps3. But it didn't even mention its capability to play games. It was advertised as a "PS3 CD/DVD/Blu-ray player"

Yeah, I've seen lots of ads for Best Buy and the like that will bundle a PS3 with HDTVs and only advertise the Bluray aspect of it. Also, at my local Best Buy, the PS3s are stacked by the BD movies, not by the video games. :lol:

I've seen them advertised as "Sony PS3 Blu-Ray DVD players".

And apparently the discs are "Blu-Ray DVDs".

It's the Northen Lights trilogy, stupid film decided to change the name of the first book as "The Northern Lights" didn't sound as good to American audiences. Fits better though with the other 2 books though, "The subtile Knide" and "Amber Spyglass"

The first book has always been called The Golden Compass in the US. That has nothing to do with the film.

Really? Ahh, sorry just annoyed ever since the bookshops ove here in the UK stopped stocking the first book as the Northern Lights. Th eproper one had a much better cover and i'm too set in my ways to call it anything else.
