Maybe the first player would have to confirm a power off. Guess we'll have to just wait and see.elementxmaster wrote:About the multiple controller/multiple power button...I'm guessing one controller could be the "host" and only he/she could use that button...Yes,I know...I'm out of ideas...

It's a game console, not a missle...vskid wrote:Maybe the first player would have to confirm a power off. Ya, but what if someones losing or accidentally hits the power? That wouldn't be good.Lucretius wrote:It's a game console, not a missle...vskid wrote:Maybe the first player would have to confirm a power off. The way it works on the 360 is that you hold the button down for a few seconds and it gives and then it gives you the option to cancel, shut off the controller, or shut off the console. It gives you these options no matter which controller you hold the button down on.grahf wrote:Well, how does it work on the xbox 360 wireless controllers? Im sure there are some people out there that own more than one
It's a small, but significant enhancement to the controller. Usually the game you want to play is in the system already so why not have it where the system powers on from the controller. Again, "innovation" from a company other than Nintendo.
A miracle I know.

Hope so. I can't imagine what else it would be for. It only makes sense after all. It's one of those things that you show people when they come over and they are immediately impressed. "Why didn't anyone do that before?" is usually the first thing out of their mouth.Skyone wrote:Oh and just saying:
What's this? A button to turn on the console?!?!
Glad to see Nintendo is following suit. Those of you who buy the Wii will love this feature.

Everyone here seems to be saying
"You're intitled to your own valid opinion but if you disagree with me ill kill you all"
It seems that in the majority of cases here people have set views and are very unlikely to change them but they precede to argue themselves blue in the face
The same thing over here, if have enough money to get a 360 or a wii right now but im choosing not to get either simply because i have better things to spend my money on. Ill do exactly what ive always done and wait a year or two and see which console has the games i want the most and has dropped in priceLucretius wrote:I gotta say, for me (and most my friends in town and a few here, in fact). This is all a moot issue. I currently own the most expensive console of all of us, my DS Lite. None of us can afford much past 150, and much fewer past 200. I still need to get my mp3 player sometime, and I'll be damned if I buy a game console before a music player...
However the wii is looking more and more inticing, but like i say im gonna wait and see who has the games i want the most

New news on the Virtual Console!:
http://blogs.rockymountainnews.com/denv ... .html#more
It seems that if you download a game off the virtual console and then delete it due to space or something you can re-download it for free!!! yey!!

"With 512 megs of flash memory, and NES games being 8-bit, you could easily download all of the games for the virtual console and still have lots and lots of space left over," he said. "Let's say you buy all of the downloadable content eight times over and fill up the flash memory, you can delete programs and then later go back and download them without paying a second time."The Regginator

But you're still paying $5 for Super Mario Bros. 1, $8 for Super Mario World, and $10 for Super Mario 64...Motoman wrote:New news on the Virtual Console!:
