personally i am of the opinion that if you are making much more than 4 or 5 posts a day average you are posting A LOT. ive been here 5 years come may 24th and i just hit 6000 posts a few days ago, and there are quite a few people who have been here less than 2 years that have nearly half as many posts as i do!

Ya. I'd say 4 to 5 posts per day for the average is quiet a lot. I've been here a few years, and barely have any posts as well.

My average is 4.9 a day. Anyway, frequent posters should be encouraged as long as the posts are relevant. An opinion that posting more than 5 a day on average is a lot, is just that after all, an opinion, not a witch hunt, guys.

No ghosstt, people are not equal and nor are their skills. That's life. Noobs often PM the Portablizers as they know there is a good chance they will know the answers to their questions. Titles are earnt (and should be).

My calculated average of 2.06 posts a day is misleading because I created an account and had one post, then it lay dormant for months.

Since I returned, I've had 609 posts in 89 days, an average of about 6.84 per day. I don't think that's too much, though, because I do try to keep them relevant and beneficial to the discussion.

Don't feel bad, ben has like .1 posts a day. As for your post:days here ratio, all it really shows is how dedicated you are. A good friend told me that. 4+ a day shows that your dedicated to the forums.

I was talking more about the non-portable related ones. Does it really matter whos a senior member? If you have a question about something that a senior member would know, then post it, so someone else who might have the same question would also get the answer. I mean, most of us are pretty mature people.. Does a title really matter?

haha. I actually asked for my title a few weeks ago not realizing I didn't meet the requirements, but that is before I've realized how much they aren't really necessary.

I have 4.93, seems to be right about the "acceptable" limit.

I do not think the senior member title means much. Even when it was "exclusive", it did not really do all that much; but the way it is currently set up just encourages spamming. It reminds of of some forums where there are places you cannot see/post till you reach a certain post count; All it does it encourages stupid posts by people trying to get their count up.
