Oh and BTW Ben and Jones, the Ps3 can be powered on by the controller. check the second video, they show them using the controller to turn it on.

The article doesn't say anything about it being free. That was an assumption on engadget's part. The Sony rep says they "will be providing a service to exchange these items" to use their words. It doesn't actually say whether there will be a charge or not. We'll have to wait for the fine print on the controller packaging to be sure. :)

I do say good show, however, to the fact that it does in fact power up from the controller. It seemed rather illogical that they wouldn't include such a simple feature when their competitors do have it. Thanks for bringing this to light XPC.
