ps2 homebrew how do i soft mod my ps2 for playin them

I have some HOMEBREW games that i want to play on my ps2. I know that this is the ben heck portables forum but I was just hoping someone might know or know where to look for the answer to this question. I have swap magic and it works and all but is a little inconvenient. is there any way to put a dummy file or something into my disc when I burn it so that it can boot on its own?

No not unless you have a mod chip.

You can see if the hard drive setup will work. But then again the system might not even see the disc even if your not booting it.

You can "softmod" it, or a simple CD-Swap method.
