That controller is an old USB game pad. I saw it in MacAddict a while back.

SEGA has dropped out of the console race. If they had any plans to come pack, they wouldn't have kept it secret for so long if they still needed to give developers information. Their only console that got them money was the Genesis.
The Dreamcast and Saturn were great, but they still failed. They aren't making much money from theit games anymore, since they have Sonic, Super Monkey Ball and..uh there's one more franchise they still use...
If SEGA brought back franchises like Vectorman, or Streets of Rage, or NiGHTS, or made a classic Sonic game like NSMB, they'd get money left and right.
These rumours started after DC fanboys couldn't accept the death of the DC.

Seeing as what pictured is a standard M-ATX 'home theater' case and a generic PC gamepad, I'm going to guess that, no, that is not a new Sega console. Not even the Dev stations that Sega have made look that plain. Looks like it may be one of those PC set-top box thingies, the one's that make playing PC games as easy as console games.
