The only problem with that is that I dont think there is a way, as of yet, to talk to more than one person at a time.... There's a ton of viruses that go through IRC and AIM, but Google's user agreement is more restrictive than AIM's, so malicious content isn't as much of a problem. (Plus you have to invite people to your list, so you know all the people you communicate with)

Im thinking of writing an email to GMAIL about this feature.I think it would be a very nice addition to the program, and It would probably replace the chat feature from the main page.
I would think someone else should do it to make it sound more professional, you know, get to the point, Or we should all email to get a response from them.

Making XNA Games in C#.
No doubt they are going to add that soon, so it would be kind of a waste of time to even email. This is just a beta of basic features and compatability.bioniclebert wrote:Im thinking of writing an email to GMAIL about this feature.I think it would be a very nice addition to the program, and It would probably replace the chat feature from the main page.

It says right in their help center that it's impossible to transmit viruses through the chat window (probably because each computer communicates to the server instead of peer-to-peer), so I'm happy with it.
I used Yahoo chat once, but it was a bad program, and a bad community in my opinion.

and also i think u can put it on a website
Can you send viruses over MSN? And if so, why would you even have somebody on your contact list who would send you a virus?
I didn't know it was open software, that's freakin' sweet. For now, I'll stick to MSN, but I'll probably try to get my friends to switch over to Talk once there are some cool mods.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm going to keep using it! It's the only IM program I have installed!
Besides this has Skype-like features too, right? (voice chat)

Hey does anyone still use Google Talk? I'll be logged in on it until about 10:00 eastern time.
