Sega Dreamcast not keeping time settings
my sega dreamcast cont keep the time when i shut the system off it allways reverts back to 1999, how can i fix this

I could be wrong but I believe it is the battery located by the controller ports.gamer2 wrote:where is the battery located and what size

this is probly answerd alreddy but i dont care about reading stuff so here is what i would do if i where you... the battry is on the mapple board its the big round thing take it off soulder on a AA batry pack the out puts the same voltage.. you might not ever need to set the clock again.gamer2 wrote:where is the battery located and what size
The battery voltage is 3.3 or 5. Its one of those batteries you'd buy for you computer bios, looks like a watch battery but thinker.
