Oh well thats not good... You might want to try for an official PSone LCD due to the wide use of it.

Just to be safe eh.

Though you can probably use a PAL PSone screen if it is the Sony type, they accept RGB and the SNES outputs it without any mods.

I see the PAL screen is much easier to obtain then NTSC. I just wanted to be sure before I went and purchased one. If you are positive I can simply plug in the A/V cables from the snes to a PAL Sony PSONE LCD Screen, then I'll do that instead. At least until I have more experience modifying consoles.

are you using a pal console? if your not you are screwed (pal+pal= :D pal+ntsc= ) you need an adaptor to plug in the lead (costs $3 from radioshack)

Here's the latest: I finally found a PSONE LCD Screen and I got it for $30!!! I was shocked!!! It should be in by thursday hopefully, so I'll just use the audio/video plugs for now and see how things work out.

Big whoop, you can get them for $30 from EB Games' online store and their physical stores (though it's best to call first and ask if they're in stock). New bundles that come with a brand-new PSone/screen in box go for about $150, but the plain screen used is very cheap.

Big whoop??? On ebay, they are averageing from 40+. On EBGames (around me), they go for 45 used, and online, its never there when I look (and I have been looking a lot). So, I don't care...I'm happy!!! =D

Is there any way to connect a Sony Li-Ion Battery (F550 7.2v 2000mAh) to the system so that when I'm playing it'll use it fine, but when its time to charge up, all I have to do is connect a plug into it and it'll charge up without the need to remove the battery?

It doesn't matter to me if its big or not... I just wanna have something fun to play with but also comfortable to use. Too small, I wouldn't be happy (i have big hands).
