nos_slived (BTW, what does your name mean?) this is a thread Dedicated to such posts as gamer2's. If people are annoyed by such things, they need not enter the thread.

These items are perfectly legit and, to our perspectives, free. The website is basically a big advertising engine: they get paid by the companies affiliated to the 'offers' that must be completed for the new customer traffic, and a portion of that money goes to buying you your free gift as an incentive.
