Yes, they both fly, yes they're both filled with gas but which is BETTER?

this is one of the wierdest, most random polls you've ever posted :P...but that won't stop me from voting!!!.......for dirigibles, that is ;)...

Yes! Dirigibles are PWNING the Zeppelins!

I don't know... I came back from the supermarket and this popped into my head. At least I didn't put plain-jane "BLIMPS" in there!

Sorry ben, I like zep's better, cause there was one in "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade". When was the last time a dirigible got blown into a million pieces :wink:

I just watched Sky Captain last night, Zeppelins are so much better because they make such bigger explosions!

J/K (even though it was a dirigible...)! In all seriousness though, I'd vote dirigibles. They just have a fun name, even though zepplins have a "Z"

And of course, Zepplins are made of Led, which is not cool.

EDIT: Let me rephrase that: Led Zepplin is cool; Zepplins made out of Led are not :P

actually the hindenburg was one of the graff zepplins so there!

Hate to be the technical jerk but Zeppelins are Dirigibles. Like the Hindenburg was built by the Zeppelin Company and is under the catagory of Dirigibles. Now hate to rag on Ben but if it were like Dirigibles vs Blimps there are clear distinstions.

If you really wanted to get into the nitty gritty. For the most part Zeppelins were a more cigar shape until they hit their stride of passager cruisers in the early 19-teens. But as they had an internal support framework they're dirigibles.

I was thinking that, but figured I had just been misinformed at some point. Good to know I'm not wrong. ;)
