GBA SP battery
How much mAh does the NES draw??
Would it be possible to use 2 GBA SP batteries in a series?
3.8V 600mAh
It would only take a maximum of 6 hours to charge them, and you get decent play time on a gameboy, so I was just wondering.

That's what it says in Ben's NESP story, that is if I remember right.... I'm too lazy to check, on my dial up it would take about 3 min.Gamelver wrote:I'm guessing internal, and even then that seems REALLY low....are you sure it's 50ma?
As for your original question Jak, you might be able to power an original NES but it wouldn't last long at all. I think the NES uses something like an amp of power so I dunno if it would work. Even if it did you could only get about a half hour without a screen.
EDIT:
Yep I was right!Bens NESP story wrote:Later on I tested it and found it only drew 50mA of power to run. That's pretty low, a hacked-up Atari 2600 is usually 250-300mA.

With an LED moded PS1 screen, it should run 1-1.5 hours on internal games. Like I was hinting at, external games probably raise the draw.
BTW Turbo: It is Ni-MH, not NI-MI. That would make them Nickel Diodide Metal Moniodide which is impossible, because iodine ions cannot exist as individuals. It is really Nickel Metal Hydrate. Sorry to do this to you, but it's just a little FYI. *The more you know* <Family Guy..(Spirit Quest episode)>
