NDSL replacement top screen + LED FPC

I have a Dslite with a replacement top screen, and replacement housing.

Now my issue is that the LED FPC says i have to solder a ground to a ground on the top screen, problem is that the original screen and the replacement screen have different ground attachments...

Is there a different ground i can solder the FPC to...

Will provide pictures if needed.

Instructions stated:
1. Weld solder mask onto the GROUND of LCD-FPC
2. connect the LED-FPC Red wire to ndsl main board IC pin 1 or pin 2
3. Connect the LED-FPC grey wire to NDSL main board test point stated p08

I ran accross the same problem, so i guess I'm going to have to solder a wire from the ground on FPC to the Ground on the Screen.
