Re: I Fight Dragons
I think I saw them live last fall at a chiptunes show in Brooklyn. It's really interesting stuff, although sometimes I feel that it gets really repetitive.

it can't be as repetitive as styloBlack Six wrote:I think I saw them live last fall at a chiptunes show in Brooklyn. It's really interesting stuff, although sometimes I feel that it gets really repetitive.

I think the repetitiveness of that song is made up for by the awesomeness of the video.

Re: I Fight Dragons
The controllers could just be snes controllers with the parallel port mod
http://www.tolaris.com/snes-to-parallel/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
and a usb converter
And of course some software to play sounds when the buttons are pushed.

Re: I Fight Dragons
Considering all of those controllers are attached to the computer, and not to speakers directly, I presume stuntpenguin is right. They're really just (almost) normal controllers, with software similar to garageband or something.

Re: I Fight Dragons
custom software im sure. not really hard to do, if you know basic code. just create a dll for each device then its just two if/then statements for each button, coupled with an audio file.
