instead of buying one, how to make one?

hey guys, anyone know how to make an laptop of an 360 benheck did would be nice to know. and ill get the parts and stuff myself.

You have to realize that making this takes experience. More then I have, more then most people on the forums have. You're going to spend a lot of money, and you're probably going to break stuff. There's no magic transform button on the xbox 360. If you understand that, this is the best guide you're going to get. Ben's engadget writeup. Don't ask for anything more detailed, this is pretty much it as far as I know.

Let me tell you this much, It will be at least $4,000 for a custom 360 laptop...

What's the max you can pay. Someone on the forums might (MIGHT) do it.

He usually charges $5000. That's what he writes on the blog frontpage every time he mentions making a new one. I'm sure it would cost even more than that if he was making one for someone by request instead of on his own time.
