mind doing me a favor? my doom 3 default file is corrupt (default.cfg) I need a new one. and i sort of lost the cd's.

Download a torrent of it, you own it anyways, call it fair use.

can't. torrent programs destoried my last pc. my last one is now slow and all this stuff. anyone else?

So don't be stupid, use an antivirus.

And you mean pirated stuff you downloaded messed your computer up, or the torrent program? Just download uTorrent, it is good.

If you use torrents and do not use antivirus, you deserve to have your computer killed. And advice: No matter how bad the software is on your old "messed up" computer, just re-install windows to fix all ailments. I do a fresh install every 6 months or so.

ok, but even so last time I tried downloading doom 3 through a torrent. The thing I downloaded wasn't doom 3 it was just some files. That gave me the same message as the exe I have now.

edit: I did have anti-virus. It was just that the torrent added all this extra stuff that ran in the background on the Pc and slowed it down drastically and they couldn't be removed.

Addware that was which mimiced system files and was unable to be removed.

never mind. I found that I already did that (torrented Doom 3 and got it) along with the exp pack.
