I just used it as an example because it was similar to the one emeraldz is trying to sell. Also, it's a Maxtor... They are why the formery-fantastic Seagate is going down the tubes these days. 1. There is nothing wrong with lowballing. It is a trading strategy. The worst answer you can get is no.
2. Informing someone that their product is overpriced is useful.
