Current Status:
sandsandsand - Front of the case FINISHED, its SMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTHH... I used to think that LoB's sanding was insane, but I just did a ton of 80 grit, then 160, then 600 grit sand paper, then I shook up my spray paint a lot and I got a PERFECT paint job, no blots, lines, etc! Perfecto!
It took a lot of mightyputty and sanding to get it to this.. ^_^ I messed up part of the back of my case (I sanded through the left trigger case... don't ask how O_o but I was able to patch it up and i'll sand that down tomarrow
(Ignore the weirdness around the top of where the screen sits.. my camera must have tilted and got a ghost or something.. that doesn't exist on the actual portable

Just need to sand and drill the speaker holes until I'm done with the front of the case (With the exception of spray painting!

I only had some IDE wire and it was cut too short... so I had to daisy chain 2 pieces of wire together...
Unfortunately my pride is all blurry! That is the SNES IC... all 18 pins (out of the 20, 2 unused) soldered right onto the contacts on the IC..
Made me very happy that I was able to do that! As LoB would say, "meticulous wiring!"So the controls are done, casing is getting there... I need more epoxy.. and finish the re wiring of the cart slot of my may-be fried Retro Duo... Hmmmm

Its weird that my Retro Duo seems to be a 2nd revision board... its a little different from the rest. I'll post crisper pictures of it later to tell you the difference. (Only had my camera phone.. bleh)...

I hooked up my now-perfectly LED modded screen to my pNES.. Working good! (Thanks Neildo!)
The screen has 4X 13000 mcd LED's ran in parallel with a 22 ohm resistor from the good ole rat shack... lights up the screen VERY well!!!

ZN-40 + Permapox Plastic Weld epoxy = awesome (and a lot of sanding!)
I've got the sides semi-filled.. there were some huge air bubbles and I cut them out to fill, but I ran out of epoxy and thats all that Advanced Auto Parts had... I had them ship all 6 sticks of them in the state of ohio shipped to that store to buy... I bet they think I'm a stoner
