connecting screen to SNES

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

connecting screen to SNES

Post by nuky nuclear »

Ok so i got a zenith screen i am wondering how i would wire that to my SNES. i noticed that the color wires on the zenith screen are red, white, yellow, and black. I take it that red, white, and yellow are the video and audio wires and that the black might be another power wire. in all there are 4 wires. so how do i connect those 4 wires to my SNES? if anyone knows where i can find a diagram showing how to do this i would like to see it. oh and its a mini snes.

The black wire is ground. You solder the video from the Zenith to the Video pin on the Snes, likewise for both audios and ground.

I'll find the Snes' pinout for you.

Wonder why it's not there.. It's on the top row of pins, 4th from the right (the desoldered a/v plug).
