Why not buy a pet that you don't need to keep in a cage for fear of it running away forever?

A pet is something like a dog or cat that sticks with you because it wants to.

A prisoner is something you need to keep in a cage.

we had a cat, it just died. It actually had to be put down because it was 21 years old and very sick...

Its weird because my dad said it was getting put down at 11:15 AM. My friends were sleeping over that day, and at 11:15 AM, a candle that had accidentally been lit blew up some how, started a bunch of papers on fire, and scorched the wall. I got it out before any major damage was done. Revenge of kitty.
