Hard Drive Failure or something else? (HELP WANTED)

Ok, my new previously owned PS3 has a bit of a problem. Every morning it totally resets. I loose pictures, demos, videos and music as well as save games. I also have to reset the language and time. So every morning it acts like a brand new console instead of giving me what I had the previous day.

Is this Hard Drive Failure?

I tried doing the COMPLETE system restore, the one that take a couple hours to complete. Well I tried that yesterday and it still screwed up which gets rid of the possibility of a software problem. I need a SATA hard drive to see if its the hard drive.
