The Lizard of Death
I have converted and uploaded an iPod video version of the last Ben Heckendorn film, "The Lizard of Death"
http://www.benheck.com/Videos/The_Lizard_of_Death.m4v
Plays in QuickTime 7 as well.
Wow, it's been 5 years since this came out. Back then I had only made my second portable, the VCSp Rev 2. If that doesn't say how slowly PW came out, nothing does.
Anyway, thought this might be a fun refresher for anyone who hasn't seen it. If anyone can copy/mirror/torrent it that'd be cool.
Enjoy!
10 days til PW.

Because this is a <200mb file. The average encoding of PW is 650mb - 1gb. This would easily suck all the main site's bandwidth dry FAST, thereby keeping us out of the forums for the rest of the month. And we don't want that to happen, now do we?

Cool I'm been a little interested in seeing what movies of the '50s were like. Nice treat you gave us, thank you.

I am a geek.
im learning how to seed torrents. i think i got it right. i only have about 40kB/s upstream bandwidth though, so it might actually be slower than bens file if not many people download it.
mostly its an experiment. if you want to help, or have less than 40kB/s of bandwidth yourself (kilo bytes), try downloading this torrent:

im going to make a page explaining how to downlaod a torrent and post it here later
be paitent... it might not start for like 20 minutes. (or at all :/)

Torrents Up Here. Please seed at least until my server gets it. Then seed some more for other people
and to save mine and Ben's bandwidth!
Edit: btw this torrent will always have a seeders as once my server gets it it will share it.

This is a message for Ben:
I notice the Lizard of death is no longer available for download through Benheck.com. I was fortunate enough to snag a copy of it back in the day - excellent work. Would it be ok with you if I made it available through Bittorrent or otherwise shared it with other people?
